Movers in Fountain Hills, Arizona

Fountain Hills is a town built on slopes, and that can shape a move there more than the distance does. Driveways climb, front doors sit up a flight of steps, and the nicest homes are often the hardest to get a truck close to. We are a family-owned East Valley mover, licensed, insured and background-checked, and we plan for the hill before we arrive rather than on the day.

Hillside lots and steep driveways

A steep driveway changes where a truck can safely park, and sometimes the answer is at the bottom of it. That means a longer carry, more trips, and furniture that has to go up or down a grade on a dolly with someone below it. None of that is a problem when we know about it; it is a problem when it is a surprise.

When you ask for a quote, tell us about the driveway, the steps to the front door, and whether the garage is level with the house. It lets us send the right number of people and price the job honestly.

Custom homes and the furniture that fills them

Many Fountain Hills homes are custom builds with large rooms, and the furniture tends to match: long sectionals, heavy dining tables, oversized headboards, stone and glass tops. Pieces like that often have to be taken apart to get out of the room they were assembled in.

We pad and wrap everything before it moves, protect floors and door frames on the way out, and put furniture back together where you want it at the new place.

Downsizing and part-year residents

A lot of people in Fountain Hills are at the stage of moving to something smaller, or splitting the year between here and somewhere else. Those moves involve choices about what comes along, and sometimes a family member helping from out of state.

We are comfortable working at that pace and talking with whoever is coordinating the move, whether that is you, your children, or both.

Getting to Fountain Hills

Fountain Hills sits on its own at the northeast edge of the Valley, reached by Shea Boulevard or the Beeline Highway. From our base in Apache Junction the Beeline is the natural route in, so a move between Fountain Hills and Mesa, Scottsdale or the rest of the East Valley is well within our range.

Book early for the cooler months. Winter is the busiest season across the Valley, and a date in January goes faster than a date in July.

What a Fountain Hills move costs

The price depends on the size of the home, the distance, whether you want packing, and above all on access: how far the truck is from the door and how many steps are in between. That is the part a flat rate can never account for.

Tell us the two addresses and a little about the driveway and we will call you back with an upfront price. Quotes are free and there is no obligation.

Fountain Hills questions

Moving in Fountain Hills, answered.

Straight answers on quotes, coverage, packing, and timing. Still have a question? Call 480-206-2757 and we will help.

My house is up a steep driveway. Can the truck get to it?

Sometimes, and sometimes it is safer to park at the bottom and carry. Either way we can do the move; it just changes the time and the crew size. Tell us about the driveway when you ask for a quote.

Do you take moves between Fountain Hills and Scottsdale or Mesa?

Yes. Fountain Hills to Scottsdale, Mesa or anywhere else in the East Valley is a normal local move for us.

Can you take apart large furniture to get it out of the house?

Yes. Sectionals, bed frames, big dining tables and anything that was assembled in the room it lives in get taken apart, moved, and put back together at the new home.

What if the house has stairs inside as well as outside?

Tell us about both. Interior stairs, split levels and a garage below the living floor all add carrying time, and we would rather plan for them when we quote than find them on moving day.
