Loading and unloading help
Not every move needs our truck. Sometimes you have booked a portable container, or your household is crossing the country on another company's truck and only needs to get into the house at this end. Garcia Movers takes loading-only and unload-only jobs across Phoenix and the East Valley, with the same licensed, insured and background-checked crews we send on a full move.
Loading your container
How a load is packed decides how it arrives. Heavy pieces go in first and low, boxes are stacked in tight tiers so nothing can slide, and furniture is padded and wrapped before it goes in rather than wedged against the next thing. When the container goes on a trailer or into storage, a good load is the only protection your things have on the road.
Tell us the container size, roughly what is going in it, and where it will be parked on the day, and we will confirm the job before you book. If you have rented a truck instead, call and ask and we will tell you whether we can take it.
Unloading a long-distance delivery
Long-haul carriers usually arrive inside a delivery window and want to be unloaded and gone. We can meet the truck, get everything off it, and carry it into the house instead of leaving it stacked in the garage.
Boxes go to the rooms they are labeled for, and furniture that was taken apart for the trip is put back together where you want it. Unload-only jobs are a normal part of our work, so tell us what is arriving and when and we will plan the crew around the delivery.
What the crew brings
A crew sized for the job, moving pads and wrap for the furniture, dollies for the heavy and awkward pieces, and the tools to take apart and reassemble beds, tables and anything else that will not fit through a door in one piece.
You do not need to rent any of that separately. You do need to make sure the truck or container is where the crew can reach it, and that someone is there to tell us where things go.
How labor-only jobs are priced
Loading and unloading jobs are quoted on their own details: how much there is, how far the door is from the truck, stairs at the house, and whether anything needs to be taken apart or put back together.
Tell us what is going on or coming off and where, and we will call you back with an upfront number. Quotes are free and carry no obligation.

Common questions
Loading and unloading help, answered.
Straight answers on quotes, coverage, packing, and timing. Still have a question? Call 480-206-2757 and we will help.
Can I hire movers just to load a truck?
For portable containers, yes, without us doing the drive. Tell us the container size, what is going in it and where it will be parked, and we will quote the loading on its own. If it is a truck you have rented, call and ask and we will tell you whether we can take the job.
Can you unload a truck that another moving company brought?
Yes. If a long-distance carrier is delivering your household, we can meet the truck, unload it, carry everything in, and reassemble the furniture. Give us the delivery window when you call.
Will you put things in the right rooms when you unload?
Yes. Labeled boxes go to their rooms and furniture goes where you point, rather than everything ending up in the garage. Anything that was taken apart for the trip is put back together.
How is a loading or unloading job priced?
On its own details: how much is going on or coming off, how far the carry is, stairs at the house, and whether anything needs to be taken apart or reassembled. Tell us and we will call back with an upfront number.
